RINO WATCH 2009: That’s what primaries are all about…

By Rusty Shackleford | October 5, 2008

Three down, no one really knows how many more need to be disposed of….

The shit hit the fan back in March when Roger Koopman put out the call to remove “socialists” from the Montana GOP. I’m not entirely positive but I think it had something to do with cabins and reach arounds. It was either that or totally screwing over the taxpayers of the state of Montana, I forget which.

The June primaries have since come and gone, and with them go the future political aspirations of three special Montanans. But that’s not stopping them from getting super-duper pissy and waging write-in campaigns of their own. Don’t you hate it when that happens..you get called on the carpet for being a douche and then you get pissy when the majority of the voters agree with that assessment.

I do feel really bad for all the Democrats/RINOs who’ve contributed to these three individual campaigns. Wait…I’m sorry…I’m confused on the definition of “feel bad”. What I meant to say was HA-HA! I sure do hate it when awful things happen to shitty people =)

And speaking of shitty people…the glorious state of Montana can give a collective atta-boy to Roger Koopman for allowing another RINO to set up shop in Helena, since he decided to not run for office this go ’round. Thanks for throwing the entire state under the bus; Ron Paul would be very proud of you!

[…] I thought that everyone should take the opportunity to see the level of rhetoric displayed by the next generation of Montana […]

How can you call Washburn a Rino? If that is your position, back it up.

His Primary debate on the radio was one major clue.

He’s a big government guy who has said he’s all for “access”. I can’t believe that too many ranchers are cool with that where you are.

He has also loudly stated that he thinks that there can never be enough moola for schools.

In that votesmart link above, it says he’s from New York, and was working there til ‘98.

He’s just like a lot of people who move here from back east… they think they’re republican (and they’re not), they think they know what’s best for us (and they don’t) and they believe they appreciate the land (but they never will).

How did this guy get past the primaries? Who was the guy running against him?

    Not everybody is super-conservative.

What would you rather have, control in Helena with a few moderates OR hand over all control to the dems and Schweitzer!?

You guys are the reason that we’re having a hard time keeping the majority in Helena.

He’s no Rino, check out the record from New York, he refused to levy taxes in the school district he was in and still expanded the school. Just because someone is from the East does not mean they are lefties. ****** EDITED BY ADMIN****

By the way, all sportsmen should support access. It is possible to have access and foster rapport with land owners rather than gaining at their expense.

Yeah, it happens when you ask them politely if you can hunt on their land.

You don’t need legislation. That’s a solution for big government types.
