A Memorial service has been scheduled for Tara Reistad Bowman, the Bozeman woman who died in last Thursday’s downtown gas explosion.
Governor Schweitzer and the Senate begin deliberations on Stimulus money spending.
A useful crisis is one which doesn’t end (don’t waste it!), also- the stimulus as an experiment in societal/economical restructuring, not a cure as it’s so often reported. What would happen if there were personal consequences for Pelosi, Obama et al due to the bad economy?
I bet if the entire Obama Administration and Democratic Congressional Leadership were sentenced to hang on December 1, 2009, if the stock market were not above 9000 and unemployment were not below 7%, they would become raging tax-cutting pro-business libertarians overnight.
