CNN: Wow. Just wow.

Watch as a CNN “reporter” falls all over herself discussing Obama’s “swagga”, dawg. I’m glad they wrapped it up as soon as they did…I was worried that if she gushed any longer this would have happened.
We get it…you love the guy…he can do no wrong…he’s super-kewl and can walk on water…we get it, we really do. Can we move on to something substantive?!
The overt hero-worship would be funny, except for the fact that it’s really stupid. These people gush that the most powerful man on the face of the planet is “cool”…that really bothers me. In their eyes, the man can do no wrong, and that just ain’t healthy. The media is supposed to be the Government’s watch-dog, but their treatment of The President is completely off. If the man is constantly showered with praise and never taken to task, he’ll think he is impervious to all things. Once one believes their own bullshit, bad things start to happen.
It’s as if they believe his awesome-ness will rub off on other world leaders and make everything okay…at least that’s what I think is going on *shakes head in amazement*. I’m still trying to figure it out. I can’t fully explain the creepiness that tremors though my body when I witness their adulation. Just as Chris Matthews can’t fully explain his “thrill go up my leg”-comment as Obama speaks.
This is unhealthy, folks.
