A couple of these names really surprised me, but the majority I expected.

It’ll be interesting to see how this vote will affect the legistats ranking in the House. [/sarcasm]

That is all.

Yea, lets get those pitchforks out!
Trevis Butchers own father, Ed Butcher ranked 18th in the survey.

So, lets keep in mind that the seat is important for leadership. Krayton Kerns victory would not have meant a thing with Jesse O’Hara in office. Cause it would be a minoirty party.

I am a Conservative Republican, but grow up people. If we drive everyone away there wont be a party.

1.) What good is having a majority when numerous members consistently cross that aisle?

2.) O’Hara won his race with 67% of the vote, Kerns won his by approximately 20 votes (50.24%)…of the two, the only one I’d give a pass to for crossing the aisle would be Kerns, seeing as he’s representing a pretty evenly split district. O’Hara owes it to his heavily conservative district to vote accordingly.

Anyone who’s won their district with at least 60% of the vote owes it to their constituents to represent accordingly.

What’s wrong with 18th? And isn’t it a good idea to judge things on merit, not based on agenda or perhaps even familial ties?

I don’t necessarily agree about a wide margin of victory equaling a mandated conservative record and a close one justifying a sloppy moderate one… But all in all, when we stand up and demand that Legislators vote THE REPUBLICAN PLATFORM AT THE VERY LEAST (that they voted in at the last party convention), then they’ll start doing it. If we keep rewarding politicians simply because they run with an R next to their name, we get what we have Nationally- a ruined party.

[…] With the exception of just a few, this list is identical to that of the Republicans who crossed the aisle in support of HB 2. […]
